By default this produces a PDF that preserves the documents accessibility. It's annoying to my clients to get a reduced printed document if they don't remember to change that default every single time they print a file. Word (Mac) Go to File > Save As and select PDF from the choices provided. It's pretty tedious to do that 50 times a day.

If I want to override the PC print default of "scale to page size" I have to go into each and every PDF (hundreds of them) select Properties > Advanced > Page Scaling and change from "Default" to "None" which then forces me to chose a page range. Apparently when my clients are using Reader on a PC, the default print size is "scale to page size". I really need for them to all print at 100% with normal looking margins rather than reduced with gigantic margins.

While many web sites direct you to download Adobe Reader to open PDFs, I recommend that you use Preview instead, as it’s faster and less clunky than Reader, and it has more user-friendly annotation tools. Preview is a PDF and image viewer made by Apple that comes installed with the Mac OS.
